Deaths in Limerick

The death has occurred of Ann Marie Canty, Greystones, Wicklow and formerly of Ballyneety, County Limerick on November 4, peacefully in the presence of her loving family and in the kind and gentle care of the team at the Mater Hospital. 

Beloved Sister to Denis and the late Declan and Jack.

A loving parter to the late Micheal. Daughter of the late John and Catherine Canty. Sister in law to Helen, Eilish and the late Mary. Adored aunt to Aimee, Denis, Nicola, Dylan, John, Alan, Colm, Mary-Kate, John, Oisin, her grandnephews and grandnieces.

A ceremony of celebration of Ann’s life will take place in Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harolds Cross, Dublin, D6W HY98 at The Garden Chapel on Saturday, November 8 at 12.45pm 

Ann’s ashes will be interred in the family grave at Knocklong in Limerick at a later date.

The death has occurred of Bridget (Bridie) Jordan, (née Carroll), Corbally, Limerick and formerly of Wicklow Town, Blackrock, Co Dublin, Greenhills and Callan, Co Kilkenny, peacefully, at Athlunkard House Nursing Home, on Tuesday, November 4 surrounded by her loving family.

Bridie was much loved by her husband of 63 years Johnny, her sons Albert, Paul, Brian, and Mark, daughters-in-law Heather, Sorcha, Desiree and Suzanne, grandchildren Glen, Lee, Kim, Latisha, Hazel, Caoimhe, Eadaoin, Eoghain, Sam, Aliya and Jake. She will be much missed by her surviving sisters Chrissie (Lynch) and Rita (Young), sister-in-law Biddy, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, relatives and friends. 

Bridie will repose at Molloy’s Funeral Home, Callan, Co Kilkenny (Eircode R95 Y443) on Saturday, November 8 from 10am.

Funeral Prayers at 11.15am followed by removal to The Church of the Assumption, Callan (Eircode R95 VK82), arriving for Requiem Mass at 12 noon.

Burial afterwards in Kilbride Cemetery, Callan.

The death has occurred of Michael Keyes, Carrig West, Clarina, Co Limerick on November 4 peacefully at University Hospital Limerick, with his wife Chris by his side.

Late TV engineer, Moloney Yard. 

Beloved husband of Chris. Dearly loved brother of Celine and Fr Oliver. Sadly missed by his loving brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, extended family, kind neighbours, friends and his beloved dog Gracie. Predeceased by his sister Yvonne.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Thursday, November 6 from 5pm to 6.30pm. Funeral arriving at St Joseph’s Church, O’Connell Avenue on Friday, November 7 for Requiem Mass at 11.30am followed by burial in Castlemungret Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Christina McInerney, (née O'Callaghan), Bengal Terrace, Limerick peacefully, at home, surrounded by her loving family, on November 4.

Beloved wife of the late Edward.

Christina will be sadly missed by her children Edward, Robert, Mary and Florence, grandchildren Lorna, Aaron, April, Jade, Ethan, Leah, Colin and Robert, great-grandchildren Brianna, Caragh, Lana and Freya, daughters-in-law Mary and Siobhan, son-in-law Dermot, sister Kathleen, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Griffin’s Funeral Home, John’s Gate, on Friday, November 7, from 5pm to 6.30pm. Funeral arriving to St John’s Cathedral, on Saturday, November8  for Requiem Mass at 10am. Burial afterwards in Mount St Lawrence (Ext.) Cemetery.
