The death has occurred of Richard (Dick) Sparling, Ballysimon Road, Limerick and formerly of Thomondgate. Late of the ESB.
November 1st 2025 peacefully at University Hospital Limerick.
Sadly missed by his loving partner Anne Quinn, sister Teresa (Culligan), nephews, nieces, extended family and a wide circle of friends. Predeceased by his brother Tommy.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Tuesday (4th November) from 4.30pm to 6pm. Funeral arriving at St. Patrick’s Church, Clare Street on Wednesday (5th November) for Requiem Mass at 12 noon followed by cremation service in Shannon Crematorium at 2pm.
Dick’s family would like to express their thanks to the Oncology and the CF Wards in University Hospital Limerick for their kind care of Dick.

The death has occurred of Christina O’Reilly (née Kiely), Lenihan Avenue, Prospect, Limerick.
Peacefully, at University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by her loving family, on 31st October 2025.
Beloved wife of the late Michael and dearest mother of Mike, Stephen and Eileen.
Christina will be sadly missed by her children, grandchildren Michael and Amy, sister Rose, brothers Joseph and Patrick, brother-in-law Mikey, daughters-in-law Priscilla and Geraldine, son-in-law John, aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, sisters-in-law, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Griffin’s Funeral Home, John’s Gate, on Thursday, 6th November, from 4:30pm to 6pm, followed by Removal to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Childers Road. Requiem Mass will take place on Friday, 7th November at 11am. Burial afterwards in Mount St. Oliver Cemetery.

It is with deep sadness that we wish to announce the passing of Sheamus Breen, Calgary, Alberta, and formally of Herbertstown, Co. Limerick, peacefully on Monday 27th of October 2025 at the age of 77 years.
Sheamus was the son of James and Margaret Breen. He is predeceased by his brother Willie and sister, Sister Lilian.
Sheamus will be missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Donna Forgrave, his brother Paddy and sisters-in-law Patsy and Lily, his nieces and nephews, relatives and many friends in Canada and Ireland.
May his gentle soul rest in peace.
