The death has occurred of Mena Hennessy née Connolly of Ballincarroona, Knocklong, Limerick.

Mena passed away, peacefully, at Milford Care Centre, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, October 29.

Predeceased by her husband Michael, granddaughter Aoife, brother John and sisters Helen, Mary and Tess.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her four children, James, Mary (Doody), Bridget (O'Sullivan) and Gerard, sons-in-law Brendan and Seamus, daughter-in-law Anne, sister Chris, grandchildren Toirease, Niamh, Roisin and Denis, sister-in-law Eily, nephews, nieces, extended family, kind neighbours and many friends.

Mena will be lying in repose at Davern's Funeral Home, Hospital, Co Limerick (V35 XV96), this Friday evening, October 31 from 5pm until 7pm, followed by removal to St John The Baptist Church Hospital.

Requiem mass on Saturday, November 1 at 11.30am with burial afterwards in Knocklong cemetery. The Funeral can be viewed online here

The death has occurred of Cathy Ambrose of Kilcolman Drive, Newcastle West and formerly of Dromin Deel, Newcastle West.

Cathy passed away, peacefully, at the University Hospital Limerick, after a long illness bravely borne, on Wednesday, October 29.

Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Nora, brothers Thomas and Sean, nephew Tom, brother-in-law William, sister-in-law Pearl.

Deeply missed by her Brothers Fr Seamus, Patrick and Michael, Sisters Anne, Teresa and Mary, nephews, nieces and extended family, friends and good neighbours.

Arriving at The Church of the Immaculate Conception Newcastle West for Mass on Saturday November 1 at 12pm noon, followed by Cremation in Shannon Crematorium (V14 PV30) at 3pm.

No flowers please.

The death has occurred of Mary Bennett née Buckley of Cluain Arra, Newcastle West, Limerick and formerly of Scart, Milford, Cork.

Mary passed away, peacefully, at Beechwood House Nursing Home, Newcastle West, on Wednesday, October 29.

Predeceased by her parents Paddy and Margaret Buckley, siblings Kittie, Jack, Paddy, Breda and Pauline. Sadly missed by her loving husband John, sister Ita, nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and kind neighbours.

Reposing at Riedy’s funeral home on Sunday, November 2 from 5pm until 6pm. Arriving at The Church Of The Immaculate Conception, Newcastle West at 6.30pm.

The Funeral Mass will be on Monday, October 3 at 11.30am. Burial afterwards at Deliga Cemetery, Milford, Co Cork.

The death has occurred of Liam Boyce of Ballyhibben, Askeaton, Limerick.

Liam passed away, peacefully, in the presence of his loving family and in the wonderful care of the staff of University Hospital, Limerick, on Thursday, October 30.

Liam is predeceased by his parents Michael and Margaret (Peg, neé O' Donoghue), his brother Jack, nephews Gerard and Billy and grandniece Elaine. Beloved brother of Helen Stack (Castleisland) and Kitty (Adare). Sadly missed by his nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at St James Church, Cappagh (V94 X864) this Friday, October 31 from 5.30pm to 7pm.

Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday, November 1 at 12pm followed by burial afterwards in Kilcornan Cemetery.

The death has occurred of John O'Grady of Ard Dara, Blarney, Cork and formerly of the Seven Stars Bar, Robert St, Limerick.

John passed away, unexpectedly, but peacefully, in Portugal, on Thursday, October 23.

John will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his heartbroken wife Deirdre (nee McAuliffe) his children Gillian, Claire and Seán, his sons-in-law Con and John, daughter-in-law Mairead, his stepchildren Emma, Ian and Kate, step-sons-in-law Kevin and Ken, step-daughter-in-law Katie, his adored grandchildren Eoin, Katie, Fionn, Holly, Jack, Alex, Sadie and baby Lily, and step-grandchildren Josh, Brian, Jack, Joey, Elijah and Ava.

Predeceased by his brothers, Paul Eddie and Eugene. Deeply regretted by his brothers Michael (Junior), Ger, Tony, Fergal and Ken, his sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and wide circle of friends.

Lying in repose at Crowley’s Funeral Home Ballincollig (P31 W982) on Monday, November 3 from 6pm with prayers at 7pm.

Requiem Mass at 12 noon on Tuesday, November 4 in the Church of the Immaculate Conception Blarney which can be viewed here. Funeral afterwards to St Senan’s Cemetery Tower.

The death has occurred of Evelyn Reilly née Woods of Tallanstown, Dundalk, Co Louth and Limerick.

Passed away, peacefully, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda on Thursday, October 30.

Predeceased by her husband Joe, her parents, brothers and sisters. Sadly missed by her loving family, daughters Patricia Condon, Geraldine Maguire and Olive Kane, sons-in-law Philip, Gerry and Brendan, grandchildren Philip, Brian, Niamh, Eimear, Joe, Laura and Aisling, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends, staff and friends at Silverstream Nursing Home (Dundalk).

Reposing at the residence of her daughter Olive Kane, Arthurstown, Tallanstown (Eircode A91 HO49) on Friday, October 31 from 2pm to 8pm. 

Removal on Saturday morning, November 1 at 11am to Ss. Peter and Paul's Church, Tallanstown arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.30 am. Burial afterwards in St Oliver Plunkett's Cemetery, Tallanstown.
