The death has occurred of Mervyn Ambrose
Of Prospect, Ballinacurra
It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Mervyn Ambrose late of Prospect, and formally of the 12th Battalion Sarsfield Barracks.
On October 23, 2025 peacefully at University Hospital Limerick ,surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his Loving wife Margaret.
Sadly missed by his heartbroken daughters Jean, Laura, Lisa , Fiona and Son Dermot.
Mervyn's nine adored grand- children and nine great grand-children.

Reposing at Cross’s Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, Sunday October 26, 2025 from 2pm to 4pm.
Followed by removal to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Childers Road.

On October 23, 2025, peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of Maynooth Community Care Unit. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Orla, children Donal, Peter, Susan and Niamh, son-in-law Paul, daughter-in-law Anneke, grandchildren Emile, Sean, Irial, Niall, Eoin and Ronan, brothers Bryan and David, extended family and friends.

Reposing at his residence on Tuesday, October 28 from 5pm to 7pm. Removal from his residence on Wednesday, October 29 at approximately 10:30am to arrive at St Patrick's Church, Celbridge for 11am funeral Mass, followed by cremation in Newlands Cross crematorium at approximately 1pm.

Of Glencairn, Dooradoyle and originally of Lenihan Avenue, Prospect.
Peacefully, in the excellent care of the staff at Milford Care Centre, on October 24, 2025, in the presence of her loving family.
Phil will be sadly missed by her devoted husband Desmond, cherished children David, Donna, Desmond and Sinéad, her adored grandchildren Omar, Zaiyan, Mavis, Liam and Avril, by daughters-in-law Iva and Laura, son-in-law Irshad, sisters Mary and Deirdre, brother John, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Of Montpelier Park, Dublin 7. Formerly of Mountshannon Road, Lisnagry. A proud London-raised Irishman who passed away suddenly on the October 20. Predeceased by his father Oliver and his six siblings.
A man well known for his love of motorbikes and Dublin GAA who will be dearly missed by his beloved family, his mother Ellen (née Smyth), his wife Sarah and his children Emma and Nicholas.
