The death has occurred of Marie Healy née Walsh of London, United Kingdom and Caherlevoy, Mountcollins, Co Limerick.

Passed away, peacefully, surrounded by family, at home in London, on Monday, August 4.

Marie is very sadly missed by her husband Jimmy, daughter Jodie, son Jamie, his partner Lisa, grandchildren Maddie, Ronan, Addison, her brothers and sister, John, Noramary and Gerard, brothers and sister-in-law Mairead, Stephen and Michelle, her aunts Noreen and Kathleen, uncle Pauid, her nieces Tanya, Clodagh and Ciara, Nephew Devon, and all other relatives, neighbours and friends.

Marie is predeceased by her Mother Peggy and father Paddy Walsh, her uncles Danny, Willie, Denny, Philip and Joe and her aunt Sheila.

Cremation to take place in London on Friday, September 5.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and neighbours.

The death has occurred of Michael (Burns) Harnett of Dromtrasna South, Abbeyfeale, Limerick and Abbeyfeale, Kerry.

Michael passed away, suddenly, and unexpectedly at his home, on Wednesday, August 20.

Michael is very sadly missed by his loving wife Ita, son John, daughters Joan, Breda, Marie and Rosita, sons-in-law Johnny, Sean, Padraig, daughter-in-law Denise, adored grandchildren Chloe, Jack, Mark, Emma, Kate, Caoimhe, Alan, Darragh and Cian, brothers Sean and Dan, sisters Sr Mary and Bridget, extended family and all other relatives and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Harnett’s Funeral Home, The Square, Abbeyfeale (V94 AK44) on Friday, August 22 from 6pm until 8pm. Requiem Mass for Michael will be celebrated in The Church of The Assumption Abbeyfeale on Saturday, August 23 at 11am.

Requiem Mass will be live streamed here.

Interment afterwards in Reilig Íde Naofa, Abbeyfeale.

The death has occurred of Rosaleen (Rose) Duggan née Drew of St Ita's Street, St Mary's Park, Limerick city.

Passed away, peacefully, at University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, August 20.

Beloved wife of the late Frankie.

Very deeply regretted by her children Denis Duggan, Rosemary Duggan, Dermot Duggan, Dominic Duggan, Shirley Kenneally and Fiona Ryan, sons-in-law Clive and Gary, daughters-in-law Anne and Siobhan, grandchildren Tara, Drew, Conor, Robyn, Padraig, Zack, Michael, Kate, Riley, Callan and Scarlett, brother-in-law Larry Duggan, sister-in-law Frances Duggan, nephews, nieces, other relatives, friends and neighbours.

Predeceased by her siblings Thomas, Michael, Willie, Christy, Frances, Celine, Eily and Theresa and parents Mary and Michael.

Funeral will arrive on Tuesday, August 26 at St Mary’s Church, Athlunkard Street for Requiem Mass at 11.30am, followed by Service at 2pm in Shannon Crematorium.

Rosie’s Funeral Cortége will pass the family residence after Mass, to enable neighbours and friends to pay their respects.

The death has occurred of Gerry McNamara of Raheen, Limerick.

Gerry passed away, after a short illness, on Wednesday, August 20.

Much loved husband of Liz (Hurley). Loving father of Paul. Gerry will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his loving family, Paul’s partner Rachael, his adored grandsons Luke and Harvey, brother Michael, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Nora and his brother John.

Reposing at Thompsons Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Sunday, August 24 from 4.30pm to 6pm. Funeral arriving at St Nessan’s Church, Raheen on Monday, August 25 for Requiem Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in Mount St Oliver Cemetery.

The death has occurred of James Dinneen of Gortatogher, Parteen, Clare and Limerick.

Passed away, peacefully, at home, after a short illness, on Wednesday, August 20.

Predeceased by his son James.

Sadly missed by his wife Geralyn, daughter Claire, son-in-law Niall, grandsons Jesse, Corey and Rhys, sisters Rita and Terry and bother Christy, extended family and friends.

A private Cremation Service will take place on Saturday, August 23.

The death has occurred of Constance (Connie) Kiely née Ryan of Windsor Court, Castletroy View and resident of Aisling Ward, St Camillus’ Hospital, Limerick.

Passed away, peacefully, at University Hospital Limerick, in the presence of her loving family, on Wednesday, August 20.

Beloved wife of the late Tony.

Connie will be sadly missed by her loving family, daughter Evelyn and son David, grandchildren April and Owen, son-in-law Dave, daughter-in-law Elaine, sister Geraldine, brothers David and Thomas, nieces, nephews, dear relative Larry, extended family, kind neighbours, a wide circle of friends and residents of Aisling Ward, St Camillus’ Hospital.

Reposing at Griffin’s Funeral Home, John’s Gate on Sunday, August 24 from 4pm to 5.30pm. Funeral arriving at St John’s Cathedral on Monday, August 25 for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Kilmurry Cemetery, Castletroy.

Passed away, suddenly, in Birmingham, UK, on Wednesday, August 6. 

Predeceased by his Dad David and brother Doyler.

Sadly missed by his mam Breda, son Aaron, sisters Helen, Lisa, Majella, Samantha and Imelda, brothers Patrick and Joe, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The death has occurred of Betty Roche née Godfrey of Clooncommons, Castleconnell, Limerick and formerly of Oola, Limerick.

Betty passed away, peacefully, in the presence of her family at Milford Care Centre, on Thursday, August 21.

Predeceased by her husband Martin, sister Geraldine, brother Billy, and her parents William and Maureen. Sadly missed by her loving daughters Martina (Tina), Yvonne, Karen and Edel, sons-in-law Eddie, Edmund, Shay and John, grandchildren Ava, Beth, James, Elizabeth, Willow, Faith, David and Kara, her sisters Vera, Bernie, Pat, Joan, Kathleen, Mary and Pauline, extended family, all her relatives and friends.

Reposing at her daughter Karen Ryan’s residence Gooig (V94 PVF7)on Sunday, August 24 from 3pm to 6pm.

Arriving on Monday, August 25 to St Joseph’s Church Castleconnell for Requiem Mass at 11.30am with burial afterwards in Stradbally Cemetery Castleconnell. House private outside of Funeral hours. Donations if desired to C.A.M. cancer support group.

The death has occurred of Maria Curtin of Dromindeel, Newcastle West, Limerick.

Passed away, peacefully, at University Hospital Limerick, on August 21.

Deeply regretted by her loving parents, Tom and Christina, brothers Bobby and Thomas, uncles, aunts, best friend Claire, cousins, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Riedy's Funeral Home on Friday, August 22, from 6pm with removal at 7.30pm to The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Newcastle West.

Requiem Mass on Saturday, August 23 at 11.30am and burial afterwards in Calvary Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff for the exceptional care at University Hospital Limerick.

The death has occurred of Sean (John) Francis MacDermott of Bog Road, Ballylanders, Limerick.

Sean passed away, peacefully, in his sleep, whilst being treated at Mallow General Hospital, on Sunday, August 17. Sean fought hard over a period of months but sadly didn't recover this time around.

He lived for his family, close and extended, and especially for his grandchildren who were his world.

He will be sorely missed by his children Kevin and Dylan, their partners Phillipa and Tania, grandchildren Alfie, Lily Erin and Jenna, his brother Ciaran, sisters Margaret and Cally, all their families, his nieces and nephews and their children, and everyone who knew or met him.

Sean will be cremated at Shannon Crematorium on Monday, August 25 at 2pm. A link to the service will be posted on rip.ie for those far and wide who can't make the service in person.

Sean wasn’t a man for flowers, so any donations in lieu of flowers could go to one of the below charities, which were either special to Sean or to someone he loved dearly:

Down Syndrome Ireland - who has supported his nephew into adulthood. 

St Joseph’s Foundation - specifically Equine Assisted Therapy for Autism, Liskennett Farm - for all their help and efforts with his dearest Owen. 

Wyce School Gambia, a project set up by his nephew for those less fortunate than ourselves, building a school community for the children of the village.
