The death has occurred of Margaret Burke (née O'Keeffe) of Kilballyowen, Bruff, Co. Limerick

Formerly Of Kilfinane, Co. Limerick.

Margaret passed away peacefully at her daughters residence on May 13, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Willie and brother Thomas.

Very deeply regretted by her loving daughter Eileen, sons Mike, Tommy and Pat, son in law Paul, daughters in law Siobhan, Fiona and Mary. Her adored grandchildren Dean, Shauna, Ciara, Liam, Niamh, Nicole, Ava, Shane and Diarmuid.

Sorrowfully missed by her loving sister Kitty Joyce and her nephew Seamus and all other relatives friends and neighbours.

Margaret will be lying in repose at St. Mary's Church, Knockainey, from 5.30pm until 7pm on Wednesday, May 14.

Requiem mass Thursday, May 15, at 11.30am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.


The death has occurred of Barbara Hartmann of Crecora, Limerick

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death on May 11 of Barbara Hartmann, late of Crecora, Limerick and formerly of Rhodesia.

Barbara passed peacefully in the presence of her loving family and in the kind care of the team at University Hospital Limerick.

You remain forever in our hearts. Rest in peace.

A ceremony of celebration of Barbara’s life will take place in Christ Church Limerick, 51 O’Connell Street, on Thursday, May 15, at 12 noon.


The death has occurred of Kay O'Connor (née Sugrue) of Ballyguile, Castletown, Kilmallock, Limerick / Granagh, Limerick

Peacefully on May 12.

Sadly missed by her loving husband Donie, son Seamus, daughter Eileen, son-in-law Peter, grandson Hunter James, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

May Her Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at O'Grady's Funeral Home Ballingarry Co. Limerick this Wednesday evening May 14, from 5.30pm to 7pm.

Arriving on Thursday to St. Joseph's Church Granagh for 2pm Requiem Mass followed by burial afterwards in St. Mary's Cemetery Ballingarry.


The death has occurred of John Stapleton, London and formerly of South Claughaun Road, Garryowen, Limerick and more recently of St. Michael's Nursing Home, Caherconlish, Co. Limerick

On May 13, peacefully, at St. Michael's Nursing Home, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his daughter Clare, parents Joseph and Mary Frances, sister Colette Connolly and brother Michael.

Very deeply regretted by daughter Roisin, son Donald, brothers Ciaran and Dermot, sisters Anne, Mary, Irene, Geraldine, Catherine and Martina, grandchildren Grace and Eireann, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends.

May He Rest in Peace

Reposing at Cross's Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, Friday, May 16, from 3.30pm to 5pm. Arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am, Saturday, May 17, in Shannon Crematorium, followed by Cremation afterwards.

A sincere thank you to the Management and Staff of St. Michael's Nursing Home for their care and support to John and his family.
