A SECOND man who was charged in relation to the discharge of a firearm in Limerick city is due to appear in court.
On Tuesday, June 10, gardaí from the Limerick Crime Functional Area arrested two men as part of ongoing investigations into an incident where a firearm was discharged in the Hyde Avenue area, Ballinacurra Weston, Limerick city on Thursday, May 8.
During the course of the operation, gardaí also seized suspected controlled drugs with an estimated street value in excess of €28,000 at a domestic residence.

A man in his 20s is due to appear before a sitting of Limerick District Court at 10:30am this Tuesday, June 17.
A second man in his late teens who was also arrested on June 10 has been charged in connection with the case and was due to appear before a sitting of Limerick District Court at 10:30am on Monday, June 16.
Investigations remain ongoing, gardaí have confirmed in a statement issued to Limerick Live.
