Gardaí appeal for witnesses to armed robbery on busy Limerick street

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to an incident of armed robbery of a business premises on Wickham Street in Limerick city.
 
At approximately 10:55am on Saturday, June 8, a male armed with a knife entered the premises of a beauty parlor and made threats to members of staff. 

The suspect stole a number of items from the shop, before fleeing on foot in the direction of Thomas Street.

Gardaí from Roxboro Road Garda Station are looking to speak with members of the public, who they believe may have witnessed this incident.
 
They are looking for anyone who may have been in the Wickham Street or Thomas Street areas of Limerick between 10:00am and 11:15am.
