A man in his 60s has been charged with the murder of an 84-year-old man, named locally as Paddy O'Mahony.
Gardaí in Tralee have charged the man who was arrested following an investigation into the discovery of a man’s body in Castlemaine, Co Kerry on Sunday, February 25.
The man who has been charged is due to appear before Tralee District Court this Wednesday 28, at 2pm.
A firearm was thought to have been used.
Investigations are ongoing.
