There was no objection to bail by gardai subject to a number of conditions including that the man abides by the conditions of the barring order.
Judge Carol Anne Coolican, presiding, granted bail before adjourning the case until February 14 in Limerick District Court.
Sergeant Denis Waters, prosecuting, handed in evidence of arrest, charge and caution in relation to the second male who is also accused of breaking a barring order. He was also represented by Ms Ryan.
There was no objection to the defendant in that case being granted bail subject to a number of conditions. They include signing on three times a week at Newcastle West garda station, being of sober habits and abiding by the terms of the barring order.
In that case, Judge Coolican adjourned matters until Tuesday next.
