A CHILDRENS' winter party is set to take place this Monday afternoon.
Organised by the Limerick City Partnership, formerly the Paul Partnership, the event is being held as part of a drive to increase engagement with residents of Mount Kennett Place and Dock Road.
Limerick Youth Services' Lava Java cafe will play host to the event, which takes place from 4.30pm to 6.30pm on Monday, December 8.

It follows on from a similar community day which took place in the Mount Kennett Place skate park in the summer-time.
This saw cooking, skating and other activities and saw a strong turnout from members of the community.
All children attending Monday's party must be accompanied by an adult. All are welcome - particularly those living in the Dock Road area.
