My Week with Celia Holman Lee: Fab boutiques combine forces

I'm pictured outside Lady Penelope Boutique in Adare, with Michele Courtney, managing director of the store. The merging of Lady Penelope and Zapato Shoes was marked by an night of elegance

WHAT A night we had celebrating the merging of two beautiful county Limerick boutiques in Adare.

The fusion of two fabulous stores in the picturesque village saw us mark the day with a fashion show.

We, at the Holman Lee Agency, teamed up with the Catwalk Agency to deliver a night to remember for the amalgamation of Zapato Shoe Boutique and Lady Penelope.

The night saw us toast the transformation and expansion of these two local boutiques with some nibbles, drinks and an in-store discount of 20% - as well as some bumper spot prizes!

We were stunned with the turnout and we were so overjoyed to be a part of this special evening. I MC’d on the night, and had so much fun doing so!

I was especially delighted to have made the event as I was just off a plane from Seville, Spain.

A much-needed getaway! My husband Ger and I were joined by our friends Ann and Billy and it was a week to remember.
It was my first time in Seville and what a truly gorgeous, remarkable city it is. They had magnificent parks and sights to see, as well as the culture, art and fashion - breathtaking!

The cobblestone streets and impressive historic buildings that lined the Seville streets proved the perfect backdrop for snapshots of memories we will cherish forever.

We kicked back and enjoyed authentic tapas, strolled around unique Spanish boutiques and indulged in some sangria. What a treat!

I was there for four days and we enjoyed every moment. A trip to such a superb city is definitely one which broadens the mind and I would encourage a visit for all to see.
