A UNIQUE Limerick collaboration of service users from AVISTA (formerly Daughters of Charity) and Limerick Youth Theatre, Music Generation, Laurel Hill Coláiste FCJ, Ardscoil Rís, and Thomond Community College took place last week.

The 12th annual Creative Show presents A Night at the Cinema took place on Thursday and Friday, April 11 and 12 in the Belltable.

Every year Limerick Youth Theatre (LYT) and AVISTA work tirelessly to stage the show, write a new script from scratch, and work with hundreds of singers, dancers, musicians and actors, school choirs, arts organisations and more.

Donal Sherlock, manager of AVISTA, said it takes three months of laughter, sweat and tears to make this happen but what is truly remarkable about the collaboration is its ability to bring out the best in all who participate.
