UL won their 11th ever Ashbourne Cup after a 6-11 to 1-12 win over TU Dublin in Sunday's final. It was a sweet victory for the UL side following the controversy that saw them dumped out of the 2023 competition.

Three Limerick players were part of the victorious UL team. Ailbhe Larkin (Mungret St Paul's) started the game, while Stephanie Woulfe (Templeglantine) and Caoimhe Lyons (Monaleen) came off the bench. It is the first Ashbourne victories for Larkin and Woulfe, while it's a fifth title for Lyons.

Nash had Limerick representation as part of his management team with Sile Moynihan, Muireann Creamer and Dearbhla Egan all involved. Former UL winning Ashbourne captain Marian Quaid was also involved as the teams' physio.
