The concert will take place at the TUS Gaelic Grounds
LIMERICK's TUS Gaelic Grounds will host popular reggae band UB40 next summer in an exclusive outdoor gig.
Co-founder of the band, Ali Campbell, and the group's latest incarnation will be going on tour next year, with a special stop in Limerick on Sunday, August 24.
This will be the only concert UB40 perform in Ireland in 2025.
The band promises to "rock to a different beat" at the venue.

With Irish singer-songwriter Damien Dempsey joining the band onstage as a special guest, fans will hear all the hits, as well as songs from his new album Hold Your Joy.
More acts are promised to be announced next year.
UB40's album Labour Love, featuring hits such as Red Red Wine and Cherry Oh Baby marked 40 years last year.
"I think I've got the best reggae band in the world," Ali said. "We can play in the UK, Africa or an island like Fiji, and people will be buzzing afterwards."
Tickets, starting at €59.90, will go on sale at 9am on Friday, October 11 on Ticketmaster.ie.
