Artists, musicians and anyone interested in participating in Culture Night 2024 are invited to submit applications.
Culture Night is the annual all-island celebration of culture in Ireland and returns this year on Friday September 20.
From village to town to city and coast to coast, Culture Night celebrates the growing eclectic diversity of arts, culture and creativity right across the country.
All participants must be registered through their relevant arts office/local authority and their event details uploaded to the national programme/website.
Participation is through your local arts office which oversees the organisation of the programme of events in each city and county.
Culture Night Programmers are particularly interested in cultural events and activities that are curated by and for youth (18 to 24) audiences and which promote diversity and inclusion through the celebration of cultural diversity, both new and established and those that seek to create opportunities for participation with those who may not always have easy access to cultural events.
This includes actively promoting Ireland's vibrant night-time cultural life and events which begin after 9pm are particularly welcome.
For more information on Culture Night event and venue criteria, visit the terms of participation section on www.culturenight.ie.
