Memories 1973 - New rehab centre worth £40,000 opens

THE new Rehabilitation Institute centre in Henry Street was opened this afternoon by the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Health, Mr Barry.

THE new Rehabilitation Institute centre in Henry Street was opened this afternoon by the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Health, Mr Barry.

The building, costing £40,000 to purchase and renovate, housed the Thomond Laundry formerly.

The Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Health, Mr Barry, performed the opening ceremony and Mayor Lipper was also present.
