"WE COULD have done with another five subs," joked Adare senior football manager Harry Gleeson after his side proved too strong for their Irish Wire Products Limerick senior football championship opponents St Kieran's on a 1-12 to 0-6 scoreline on Thursday evening.
This was Adare's third win of the championship with another few weeks off to regroup before their final group game against Na Piarsaigh.
Manager Gleeson said: "These few weeks off now will give a few of the lads with knocks a bit of time to recover, I think everyone is struggling with injuries at the moment.
"We relied heavily on our subs again and it just shows the importance of having a panel of players to come on and introduce a bit of energy to the game again."
