Mystery surrounds 'alien sightings' in Limerick

ALIENS were thought to have been spotted in Limerick city on Sunday night, with mysterious lights appearing over the northside of the city’s skies.

Social media came alive as reports flooded in from residents seeing colourful beams of light projecting from the clouds, with many thinking an extraterrestrial source was to blame.

However, the mystery has since been solved - the lights that could be seen high into the sky were from a light installation that took place in Thomond Park during rehearsals for a special light show event.

The rebranding of the company Legato Health Technologies Ireland to Carelon Global Solutions Ireland is being marked by the first ever ‘pitch projection’ to take place in the country.

As part of the rebranding, the business consulting healthcare solutions company is hosting a light beam show for its stakeholders at the home of Munster Rugby for the Carelon Global Solutions Ireland formal unveiling.

The array of coloured lights will again be on show this Monday evening at around 6pm, so not to worry - aliens haven’t landed in Limerick just yet!
