Limerick GAA, in collaboration with Gleeson Sport Scene, released the jersey on Friday morning to much excitement in and around the county.
The Treaty County have opted for a darker shade of green for the upcoming season with the famous Treaty Stone, King John’s Castle and River Shannon beautifully visible on the jersey’s sleeves.

Aaron Gillane (pictured above) and co. will be hoping to retain the Liam MacCarthy Cup in 2027 sporting the new strip, following on from what was a flawless 2026.
John Kiely’s charges were in impeccable form claiming the Allianz League Division 1A title, the Munster title and of course the All-Ireland title against Galway in July.
The feel-good factor surrounding the team continued as recently as last week with nine of the Limerick hurlers claiming All-Star awards.

The Limerick footballers will also be hoping for a positive 2027 under the guidance of Micheál Cahill, who replaces Jimmy Lee.
Lee stepped down after a three-year tenure earlier this year.
Cahill and his charges will be have have their sights set on both a positive Allianz League Division 4 campaign as well as a fruitful Tailteann Cup run next season.
