LIMERICK U20 hurling manager Evan Loftus stated he was "proud" of his teams performance after being defeated by Cork by only two points in the third round of the Munster Championship.
This is the Limerick's third loss of the campaign but a more confident performance against the Rebels will set them up nicely for their final group game against Waterford on Friday, May 11.
Goals from Fintan Fitzgerald and Tadhg Boddy were not enough as the Cork side pushed on with quick fire shots from range leaving the scoreline 1-25 to 2-20.
