WATCH: Limerick minor hurling manager Shane Dowling reacts to Munster Championship loss to Cork

Limerick were defeated by Cork, 1-16 to 1-10, in their opening game of the minor Championship

SHANE Dowling and his Limerick minor hurling team came up short against Cork in their first game of the Electric Ireland Munster Minor Hurling Championship in SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh yesterday, Thursday.

A Jack Cosgrave penalty in the second-half brought the game back for Limerick. However, ultimately Cork proved too strong and won out on a scoreline of 1-16 to 1-10.

Limerick now face another away date in the round robin phase of the championship, this time against Clare on Thursday next, April 18 in Sixmilebridge, 7pm.
