WATCH: Limerick Ladies football joint manager Sean Kiely reacts after league final defeat

Sean Kiely and Mike Quilligan's Limerick side lost to Carlow, 1-7 to 0-6

JOINT-Manager of the Limerick's ladies football team, Sean Kiely, gave his opinion after his side lost by four points to Carlow in the Lidl National League Division Four final at Grant Heating St. Brendan’s Park, Birr this afternoon.

A late Carlow goal by Maeve O'Neill was the difference in the end as Limerick struggled with the huge wind in the second-half of the game to finish on a scoreline of 1-7 to 0-6.

Kiely went on to say: "Carlow were able to use the breeze a bit better than we did and only going in three points up at half-time probably wasn't enough against a quality side like them."
