LIMERICK'S ladies footballer joint-manager Sean Kiely stated his sides victory over Cork in the Munster Senior 'B' Championship Final is "vital" ahead of the teams outing in the TG4 All-Ireland series, where they find themselves in group B alongside Kilkenny, Louth and Longford.
The Limerick side had an extremely confident first-half display against Cork in Mallow GAA Complex this Saturday afternoon and eventually won out on a 1-10 to 0-7 scoreline.
This is the sides first piece of sliverware after a number of disappointing final results, most recently in the Lidl National League Division Four Final against Carlow.
Kiely was delighted that his side got over the line in this final ahead of the All-Ireland championship starting on Sunday, June 2 away to Longford.
