WATCH: Na Piarsaigh senior hurling captain Jerome Boylan: 'The goal is always to win the championship'

Na Piarsaigh play Ahane in round three of the Limerick SHC on Sunday afternoon

"The goal is always to win the championship, it's easier said than done. We know the quality of the other teams in the championship, we've only played two games. We're going to try and win it that's ultimately why every team plays at the start of the year but we will take it game by game," said Na Piarsaigh senior hurling captain Jerome Boylan at the launch of the Whitebox Limerick senior hurling championship.

Jerome Boylan missed the opening two games for Na Piarsaigh through injury in the Limerick senior hurling championship. The Caherdavin side were without Jerome Boylan, Conor Boylan, Peter Casey and Mike Casey in the opening two rounds of the Limerick SHC.

Na Piarsaigh are in second place on three points in group one of the Limerick SHC. Shane O'Neill's charges played out a draw with Doon in round one and the 2024 county finalists recoreded an impressive victory over Ballybrown in round two.
