"It's massive honour to represent your club at county level. And to get the opportunity to captain such a great group of lads is a massive honour for myself personally," said Limerick senior hurling captain Cian Lynch at the launch of the Munster Senior Hurling Championship.

Cian Lynch has replaced Declan Hannon as Limerick senior hurling captain for the 2025 season. Limerick get their Munster SHC campaign underway against Tipperary on Sunday April 20 in Semple Stadium, Thurles at 4pm.

The Limerick senior hurlers will depart this Wednesday for a five-day training camp in Portugal. John Kiely's squad is heading to the Quinta do Lago Sports Complex in the Algarve to crank up their preparations for the upcoming Championship.
