WATCH: Limerick senior hurling manager John Kiely: "We would like to finish the league on a positive note"

Kilkenny defeated Limerick 0-29 to 0-20 in UPMC Nowlan Park on Saturday afternoon

"We still have another game to play next weekend. We would like to finish the league on a positive note and we have to go back to the drawing board now. And come back next week a better team" said Limerick senior hurling manager John Kiely.

Kilkenny defeated Limerick 0-29 to 0-20 in UPMC Nowlan Park on Saturday afternoon. That defeat now means Limerick cannot reach this year's Allianz Hurling league final.

Limerick now switch their focus to round seven of the Allianz Hurling League against Wexford on next Saturday March 22 at the TUS Gaelic Grounds.
