"Ultimately, you're going to have to win the games anyways to win the competition. It's not that disastrous of a loss as long as we can pick things up and get going again in a couple days time" said Mary Immaculate Fitzgibbon Cup manager Jamie Wall.
UL's victory over Mary I means that Wall's side are back out in action in the Fitzgibbon Cup quarter-finals on Wednesday. The Fitzgibbon Cup champions will face DCU, TUS Midwest or Maynooth University in the last six.
After the game, Leader Sport caught up with Mary Immaculate manager Jamie Wall.
