WATCH: Two points secured for Aidan Fitzgerald's Blackrock premier intermediate hurling team

Fitzgerald's team ran our 1-20 to 1-11 victors over Na Piarsaigh in the second round of the championship

MANAGER for Blackrock's premier intermediate hurling side Aidan Fitzgerald admitted that his team were "under pressure" coming into their game against Na Piarsaigh, but Blackrock looked composed and confident as they registered their first win of the championship. 

Blackrock were the more dominant side throughout the clash winning on a scoreline of 1-20 to 1-11, giving them a vital two points on the championship table. 

Aidan spoke after the victory stating: "I suppose we were under a bit of pressure coming into this game and it's get to get two points on the board. We have worked had over the last week at training and you could see there was a huge focus on winning this game and that is exactly what the lads did."
