WATCH: Mungret St Paul's senior hurlers ready to get underway in senior A championship

Mungret will play at the Senior A level this year after being promoted from last seasons victories

MUNGRET St Paul's feel like they are back at the level they want to be playing at this year as they kick-off their Bons Secours Hospital County Senior Hurling Championship with a tough test against Ahane in Claughaun GAA on Saturday evening at 7pm.

Captain for the side Rory Duff stated that the team feel ready to go ahead of the opening round game. "We are up promoted this year and it's certainly the level we want to be at and it's the teams you want to be competing against. I think the team are totally focused on this weekend and trying to get a win over Ahane in the first round."
