PATRICKSWELL senior hurlers are looking to get their hands on the sliverware this year after coming up short against first round opponents Na Piarsaigh in the Bons Secours Hospital County Senior Hurling Championship final.
The 2023 finalists will face off against each other this Friday in the TUS Gaelic Grounds at 7pm in the opening fixture of the senior championship.
Thomas O'Brien from the club spoke about the huge rivalry between the two sides at the launch of the championship stating: "We have played Na Piarsaigh countless times since underage and we know each other inside out. They are a great side very fast and they piped us in the final last year so the first round is all about getting the two points if possible and that's all we are thinking about at the moment."
