WATCH: South Liberties aiming to bounce back to the top of the senior B hurling championship ranks this season

After a tough 2023 due to injuries the club is hoping to finish in the top spots of the senior B competition

SOUTH LIBERTIES are aiming to finish at the top of the senior B County Senior Hurling Championship this season after a difficult 2023 season. 

Micheal O'Brien from the club knows how evenly matched the teams are in the senior B competition and spoke at the launch of the championship about the possibility of the club moving up to the top flight of the Limerick club hurling scene.

"The senior B championship is so evenly matched any team can beat each other on any given day so our full focus is on our opening game against Dromin Athlacca now this Thursday in Kilmallock. We want to finish in the top spots of the championship this season and I think everyone in the club is aiming for the same thing."
