WATCH: Doon's Darragh O'Donovan looks 'to push on' in Limerick senior hurling championship

The All-Star midfielder is determined to remain fit and injury free during this year's club championship

"I want to put the last six months behind me and move on, being injured is fairly draining" stated Doon's midfielder Darragh O'Donovan after spending the majority of 2024 on the sidelines with Limerick's senior hurling team due to a calf injury.

The All-Star midfielder is now more determined than ever to remain injury free for the senior club hurling championship as his side face Kilmallock in the opening round on Thursday, August 1 at 7pm in the TUS Gaelic Grounds.

Darragh continued by saying: "I want to injury my hurling again and look hopefully we can drive on as a club and make a bit of progress on where we were last year and take it one step further."
