LIMERICK are Allianz Hurling League champions for a 14th time following a straightforward 2-20 to 0-14 win over Kilkenny at Páirc Uí Chaoimh earlier today.
John Kiely's side were far from their best in the game but had more than enough to earn victory with Barry Nash and Aaron Gillane bagging the goals for Limerick.
Following the victory, Kiely described the performance as 'Jekyll and Hyde'. Limerick are two weeks away from their opening Munster SHC clash with Waterford and attention immediately turns to that fixture in Thurles on Sunday, April 23.
