"I think we have to be a realistic aswell, we are after getting promoted to Division 3. We are happy enough to be in the Tailteann Cup, it's about going one step further than we did last year and hopefully getting back to Croke Park," said Limerick senior footballer Josh Ryan.
Limerick opened their Tailteann Cup campaign with a 1-15 to 0-25 victory over London on last Saturday afternoon in the Newcastle West GAA grounds. The Shannonsiders make the trip to Antrim on Saturday in round two of the Tailteann Cup at 4:30pm.
