"Last year we got to the semi-final and we were just short against Mungret. Mungret went on to win it. We know, we are good enough to be playing senior. It's just a matter of getting up there. Hopefully, this is the year" said Rathkeale wing back Adam Shanagher.
Rathkeale defeated Claughaun 2-9 to 0-8 in the Limerick IFC semi-final on Saturday afternoon in Askeaton. The West Limerick side will face Galbally in the Intermediate Football Championship Final.
After the game, Leader Sport caught up with Rathkeale footballer Adam Shanagher.
