2023 SENIOR football finalists Adare have got a huge boost ahead of this year's championship as manager Harry Gleeson has returned to take over the helm.
Adare face Monaleen in their opening Irish Wire Products Ltd County Senior Football Championship game in group one on Thursday, June 27 at 7:30pm in Mungret.
Adare was represented by Eoghan Costelloe at the launch of the 2024 Senior Football Championship and the new captain was full of praise for Gleeson.
"I don't have the words to describe what Harry means to the group and the entire club. He has done so much for us and having him back as manager is amazing. He brings that professionalism and calmness and he brings all the right people in.
"He has as huge amount of experience winning championships and it's great to be working with him again this year. We are very hopeful that we will reach the final and hopefully win the senior championship this season."
