
LIMERICK defeated London on a final scoreline of 2-14 to 0-10 in round three of the Tailteann Cup at Parnell Park on Saturday afterrnoon.
Goals from Danny Neville and Paul Maher had Limerick leading 2-08 to 0-06 at the break.
The Shannonsiders kept the scoreboard ticking in the second half where they outscored their opponents 0-06 to 0-04.
Limerick have finished in second place in group four of the Tailteann Cup and have been rewarded with a home preliminary quarter final next weekend. The draw for the preliminary quarter-final will be made this evening where Limerick will face either Tipperary, Wicklow or New York.
