CASTLETROY College qualified for the knock-out stages of the Dr Harty Cup, Munster post-primary schools senior 'A' hurling competition on their return to competing in it.
However, the Limerick side's run in the Harty Cup ended with their 3-20 to 1-7 preliminary quarter-final defeat to a clinical St Flannan's College side at Meelick on Wednesday last.
Following the game, Limerick Leader sports editor Colm Kinsella caught up with Castletroy College coach Liam Reale who reflected on their campaign which included an exciting group stage victory over Carrick-on-Suir CBS which secured their passage into the knock-out stages.
