PATRICKSWELL captain Aaron Gillane only has one thing on his mind ahead of the Bon Secours Limerick senior hurling club championship final this weekend and that is winning another title for the club.
The All-Star nominated hurler says it is 'an honor' to captain his home club and knows how difficult this year's final will be against Na Piarsaigh. Throw-in time at the TUS Gaelic Grounds this Saturday is 5.15pm and the game is live on TG4.
Gillane and his Patrickswell team mates who are part of the Limerick hurling squad will be pitting their wits against several Na Piarsaigh players who are also members of John Kiely's squad in Saturday's big club decider.
At the launch of the senior hurling club championship final, star Limerick forward Gillane added: “Look it is great to play with the lads for a couple of months, but all that is forgotten about as soon as you finish with Limerick because you are straight into club championship so there would definitely be serious rivalry.”
