MONALEEN earned their first win of the Bons Secours Hospital Limerick SHC by beating South Liberties on a 2-24 to 0-14 scoreline in Caherconlish.
The win gives Eoin Brislane's charges a big boost heading into the three-week break and it was an impressive response after a heavy defeat in round one.
One of their star players, Donnacha Ó Dálaigh, was in top form with 0-6 from play and he spoke to Leader Sport after the 16-point victory.
