ALL-IRELAND champions Limerick opened their 2023 campaign with a one point, 0-20 to 1-16, defeat to Cork in the Co-Op Superstores Munster Hurling League fixture at Páirc Ui Chaoimh on Sunday.
Limerick's hopes of advancing to the final of the early season competition ended with this narrow defeat although Limerick will face Kerry in their final group game.
