NEW Limerick manager Ray Dempsey got his reign off to a winning start on Wednesday night as his charges scored convincing with a 4-14 to 0-9 victory over Waterford at Mick Neville Park in Rathkeale.
Limerick senior footballers will now face Tipperary in their second group B game in the McGrath Cup on Saturday, January 14 at Templetuohy, 2pm, when victory would secure their place in the final of the early season competition.
