MacCumhaill's remember Martin Griffin at awards dinner and presentation

Family and friends of the late Martin Griffin including past teammates Brendan Dunleavy and Michael Lafferty were guests of the MacCumhaill's club at their awards dinner and presentation night following a successful year in the pitch

The Villa Rose was the venue for the Sean MacCumhaill's Dinner Dance and Award Presentation with tribute to Martin Griffin on Saturday last.

After a long absence of holding such an event it was great to see over 200 people fill the Cappry Suite and celebrate 2022's successes. Upon arrival guests were treated to a prosecco reception and had time to socialize before being seated for the meal. Club Chairman PJ McGowan opened proceedings, welcomed everyone present affording a special welcome to the Griffin family and wished everyone an enjoyable meal and evening.

The first team called up to collect their medals were the Senior C Champions. Team manager Dougie McDaid paid tribute to his management team and players and called the panel up to receive their medals.
