Diarmuid Kilgallen has signed a two-year contract extension, keeping him at the province until at 2028

MUNSTER Rugby have confirmed that winger Diarmuid Kilgallen has signed a two-year contract extension, keeping him at the province until at 2028.

Since making his debut against the All Blacks XV in November 2024, Kilgallen has had an injury-hit tenure at Munster, but has scored six tries in his 15 appearances.

Kilgallen received an Ireland call-up last summer after a strong debut season with Munster.

The highlight of his run was scoring twice in his competitive debut away to Northampton Saints in the Champions Cup.

Kilgallen started out at Naas RFC before playing schools rugby for Cistercian College Roscrea on the Tipperary-Offaly border.

Before signing for Munster, he was part of the Connacht Academy from 2019.
