Final ruling issued on controversial Limerick camogie semi-final

The original fixture - played back on September 20 - was level after extra time and the referee, after consulting county board officials, ruled the tie-break would be settled on '45s
NATIONAL camogie officials have ordered a replay in the controversial Limerick Intermediate Camogie Championship semi-final between Blackrock.-Effin and Templeglantine.
The original fixture - played back on September 20 - was level after extra time and the referee, after consulting county board officials, ruled the tie-break would be settled on '45s.
However, a new rule for this year's club championships in Limerick stated that any match level after extra time should go to a penalty shootout.
A county board appeal ruled the match should be replayed, however, Templeglantine successfully to provincial authorities.
However, the Camogie Association's Transfers, Hearings, and Disciplinary Committee upheld the appeal from the south Limerick side and ordered a replay.
County board officials wasted little time rescheduling the match as it is taking place tonight (Friday) in Doon at 8pm.
The final - where Na Piarsaigh are waiting having won their semi-final over a month ago - will take place on the Bank Holiday Monday in Adare at 2pm.
