The Stranglers - rescheduled show takes to the Big Top stage this Sunday night

THE Stranglers return to Limerick for a gig this weekend that was postponed in February due to Storm Emma.

The blizzard like conditions might have delayed the Big Top show for a few months but certainly did not put paid to it and the strains of Golden Brown will lift the roof off the Milk Market this Sunday night.

The seminal British will play with cult Irish favourites Therapy? in support as special guests, with all tickets from the rescheduled performance still valid.

The Stranglers, boasting a vast catalogue of material in their arsenal, say they will present their “Definitive” collection to coincide with the planned re-release of their first seven albums.

Expect pounding rhythms, soaring melodies, quirky humour and thrillingly daring musicianship.
