Amy McAllister as Kessy in Stacey Gregg’s Scorch, which takes place in the Belltable this Friday and Saturday night
THE award winning play Scorch comes to the Belltable for a two night run this weekend.
The play, by Prime Cut Productions and written by Stacey Gregg – held as one of Northern Ireland’s most talented playwrights – won a Fringe First at Edinburgh and Irish Times Theatre Award for Best New Play.
A story of first love through the eyes of a gender-curious teen, Scorch examines “how the human story often gets lost amidst the headlines”.
Featuring Amy McAllister as Kessy and direction by Emma Jordan, the first tour for the touching, funny and provocative play has been taking place during 2016 and it comes to the Belltable this Friday and Saturday night.
Looking ahead, award winning company Sunday’s Child bring Overshadowed to the Belltable on October 8.
