Throne chance for Limerick TV show fans at the Crescent

IT is the iconic structure from the world’s most watched television show and fans will have a chance to sit on the Iron Throne in Limerick this weekend.

Over six series of Game of Thrones, armies and inner family struggles have battled for control of the Iron Throne of the Kingdom of Westeros. 

Now, the throne will visit the Crescent Shopping Centre this weekend.

Fans can sit on the iconic throne from 10am-6pm this Saturday July 23 and 12pm-6pm on Sunday July 24.

The Iron Throne Experience is being brought to Limerick by Fancosmic Ltd and includes replicas of the Iron Throne, the crown of Joffrey Baratheon and Jaime Lannister’s sword.

Tickets start at €10, where one person can sit on the throne and receive 4/6 professional photos.

For €25, one person can sit on the throne and pose with the crown and the sword, and receive 6/8 professional photos.

A group ticket costs €30, where four people can sit on the throne and receive 4/6 professional photos.

Professional photos will be sent via email. Visitors are also encouraged to dress up.
