THE rather gloriously eccentric Duke Special makes a return to Dolan’s this weekend on his ‘Pianos and Pages’ tour.
Lisburn's favourite son, dreadlocked performer Peter Wilson, is performing a series of solo shows, exploring “forgotten old dusty manuscripts” along with songs from his most recent and well received album Look Out Machines.
Expect plenty of old favourites from the Freewheel singer, whose unique voice is worth the meagre admission price of €16 alone. Special plays Upstairs in Dolan’s this Saturday night.
Also don’t miss Lisa Canny this Friday in the same venue. The Mayo born harpist-singer returns for a brief show before a US tour. See Dolans.ie for tickets.
